Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. ASBO International Annual Conference & Expo Scholarship (from IASBO) This award provides a scholarship to put toward travel and registration expenses for the ASBO International Annual Conference & Expo. These travel expenses were paid for by Illinois ASBO Service Associates and the Illinois ASBO Board of Directors. October 2019 ASBO International Emerging Leaders Scholarship (from ASBO International) This award supports 18 rising professionals with five or fewer years in school business by providing a scholarship to put toward travel and registration expenses for the ASBO International Annual Conference & Expo. January 2018 Robert J. English School Business Scholars Award This award was established to advance the field of school business administration by investing in second year CSBO students enrolled in the Illinois ASBO/NIU School Business Management (SBM) Program. December 2008 InnerWorkings’ Enterprise Account of the Year Received this award as part of the team that serviced the Vera Bradley account for quality of products produced and overall customer satisfaction. July 2007 Ontario Corporation Business Management Scholarship Received this award the only year in which I was eligible for outstanding performance and promise in the business department of Ball State University. IASBO UPDATE Magazine Editorial Advisory Board Member Serve as a liaison between the editors of the UPDATE Magazine and the Public Policy & Intergovernmental Relations Professional Development Committee. Members assist the editors identify authors for professional articles and help guide the topics to be presented in future issues of the magazine. April 2019—Present IASBO Delegate Advisory Assembly (Will County IASBO Representative and Alternate) Represent and report back to the Will County Regional IASBO organization with legislative developments in Illinois. Use the platform to advocate for legislative reforms that will benefit schools in the region. The mission of the Delegate Advisory Assembly (DAA) is to make recommendations to the Illinois ASBO Board in regards to issues of public policy and/or legislation involving resource management of education. January 2017—Present IASBO Public Policy & Intergovernmental Relations Professional Development Committee Member Work with other members of the Illinois Association of School Business Officials to stay current on legislative issues related to school business and plan professional development sessions in this subject. April 2005—December 2006 President of the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts Eastern Illinois University Chapter Served as the head of the student run printing business and performed all duties required of a Chief Operating Officer.
